downtime.ad is currently available for iOS (iPhone and iPad). An Android version may come in the future. The app requires iOS 17 or later.
When a check detects your site is down, a native push notification is sent to your iPhone within seconds via Apple Push Notification service (APNs). No email delays or third-party services involved.
Any publicly accessible HTTP or HTTPS URL — websites, APIs, webhooks, health check endpoints, status pages. If it responds to an HTTP request, we can monitor it.
We use smart retries before marking a site as down. If the first check fails, we retry after a short delay from a different path to confirm the outage is real before sending an alert.
